CPC is Nashville's only Christian Deist Church. Our ministry is devoted to providing spiritual support for all, but particularly to those who have been burned by high demand religiosity such as Mormonism and Scientology. These cults unjustly burden the innocent and vulnerable with their dogma. We seek to provide a landing place for those brave enough to exit fundamentalism as we reclaim the benefits of community.
10 Tenets of Belief
1-MYSTERY: Embracing the Universe as the source of wonder and humility, we declare that God IS that which cannot be defined.
2-PREEMINENCE: We value existence as purposeful because Humanity is the culmination of God’s creation.
3-EXPANSION: Rights granted by God to Humanity are expanding as human consciousness, knowledge, and technology increase.
4-CREATION: Nature—our connection to the earth and all beings—is sacred.
5-TRUTH: We value Truth over all things, regardless of its implications.
6-LIBERTY: We champion freedom in belief, expression, and spiritual practice unencumbered by coercion or dogma.
7-WELLNESS: We recognize maintaining one's health—as reverence for the divine—is a duty.
8-CAPACITY: We strive for growth, learning, and self-improvement so that we may increase our ability to care for others.
9-RECONCILIATION: Forgiveness is the greatest gift YOU can give.
10-EXULTATION: Fulfillment comes through—and thus, our purpose is to—decrease suffering.
CPC Church is recognized federally by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) Public Charity. All donations are tax-free.
CPC is registered in the Great State of Tennessee as a Religious Nonprofit Corporation founded on the 17th of June, 2025.
Co-Founders Robert Zenk and Dr. Benjamin Webber are both former members of the Brighamite Mormon Church based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
